Being a Reading fan, I rather fear that Reading
will end up being liquidated 🙁.
Sell before we dai
For gods sake just sell the club!

I live locally and a number of friends who are reading fans and its heartbreaking. Its a mess and its unclear how it gets fixed as Dai seems to keep moving the goalposts despite having people that want to buy the club.

Was a season ticket holder last season. I didn’t
renew as I will not put money in Dais pocket!
Tragic what is happening at the mad stad.

It seems every time we get a interested party
in buying the club. It ends up collapsing!
It’s a dead duck!

I am amazed they are still only just outside the play off spots considering what is going on

Hello good sir,

I fear the same. I've been a season ticket holder for around 17 years (with maybe 2 years without when I was moving about). Next year I don't think I can stomach this again.

I think administration is the only option. I was hoping it would happen this season as 20 point deduction would mean we still stay in this league. I realise we'd lose our players and academy but if it means fully removal of Dai Yonnge then that's a price I'll pay.

I'm sick of hearing about buyers now. It's clear to me we have an owner with no intent to sell. He is determined to run the club further into the ground.

In the summer I believe we'll have only 5 players still under contract.

I'm losing hope now and fear that this very old club may be on its last legs. It's hard to accept that we went from premier league about 12 years ago to struggling to exist.

MPs and media are absolutely powerless. That reinforces my view that it's administration or nothing.

Hi Redrabbit. Firstly my user name is because
my family was originally from Manchester.
Anyway I feel sick and tired of it like yourself.
Dai has had 2 clubs liquidated in China and Belgium.
So not a good track record. We miss Ruben Selles
did a miracle keeping us up last season. Even
forfeited his wages Christmas 23 so the players
would get paid and avoid a points deduction.
My fear is that Dai will liquidate the club, stadium
demolished and all the land sold of to property
developers. I hope it doesn’t happen, but I’m losing
hope! It’s torture!
Thanks Ruben for everything you did for the club
and good luck at Hull City.
Come on you urzzzz

It's pretty sad what's going on and I'm shocked it's allowed to happen. The idiot has history for this kind of thing too frown While the governing body is toothless to act.

I hope this is allowed and I hope it gets to where it needs to go.

Was driving up to watch my team on Friday and my youngest was looking up various records having not believed me when I said Reading had been in the Prem (we were going through all the teams that had)...didn't know Reading hold the highest points tally across all English professional divisions.

Cruel game.

Why's that? Because they've been in all four divisions or because they are on of the oldest league teams? Not sure I understand...

I think it's a reference to the 106 points in 2005/6, a single season total that is yet to be beaten.

Ah right, real shame the way they have fallen.

Apols, that was the reference.

And agree, a real shame.
