So is this their answer to the unloved Hybrid tech resulting in ever depreciating cars such as the SF90 and 296 GTB/GTS!?

hmmmmmmmm

https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/corporate/articles/f...

The new Power Hybrid allows clients instead to extend the factory warranty on all major powertrain components, including those related to the hybrid system, from year 8 to year 16, and again foresees the replacement, at no extra cost, of the high-voltage battery pack (HVB) in year 16.

That's pretty mega TBH!

No mention of the price…

I too, will replace your car’s HVB free of charge if you pay me enough in advance!

I think it's £14k for 2 years but not 100% sure

£7k a year for 8 years, which put's a lot of money towards Ferrari replacing a tiny battery (if even needed) which costs them about a grand to buy.

Is this a new announcement? The press release linked is dated July 2024. Either way, it reads as pretty comprehensive assurance for an owner, and would help with residuals.

Exactly this.. approx £6k per year after year 4 Factory Warranty, v approx £3.5k normal Power Warranty. Have not looked at the small print but I would hope that £6k includes the labour as well as Battery, presuming so.

Seems there is another one, a Full Manufacturer Warranty Extension not just the Power Warranty Extension. Not sure how much that one costs, but that should give confidence to the Hybrid secondhand market.

I suspect that dealers throwing in a multi year warranty package as part of the deal will help shift a few 296s, especially as the next owner would have that option too.

Im sure given the current markets state of these cars they will be willing to do a deal and "throw it in"

Better than £11k for 12 months for an Aventador / SVJ!
