Last night I made all the preparations to visit the CIPD conference in Harrogate today. Packed my gear, moved work about to get the time (worked until 10pm to do it), sorted out a route, refueled the car, laid my clothes out etc. Just needed to make a final check on the web site of the start time (was it 9am or 10am?). Actually it was the 26th of October. I was a month early.

Beginning to think the marbles are going. I was just so sure it was today, but luckily didn't actually travel but came pretty close. I have gone in to work on bank holidays in the past not realising what day it was but is this the final sign that the end is nigh???????

Did you abuse drugs in your teens....cos that might have something to do with it!
That sort of thing is quite common place in my life at the mo.

Drugs or memory loss?

I'm terribly forgetful, I almost forgot to reply to this

I think the proliferation of things that help with our day to day lives doesn't help though. We just don't need to remember stuff any more and the memory gets lazy. I'm glad it's not just me.

Funny morning once

Alarm went off on time, had a cup of tea, jumped in the bath, got suited and booted and arrived at the train station exactly an hour later that usual.

I have the same routine everyday, I didnt do anything different and it wasnt a day where the clocks go back or forward. I just lost an hour out of my morning.

Very strange

I had the same thing a while back with a mate i was picking up at heathrow who was visiting from the States, after checking the e-mail with his instructions about his arrival countless times i went up to pick him up and waited 3 hours for him...when he failed to turn up i sent him a slightly snotty e-mail enquiring of his whereabouts,,,he replied ,asking of my mental state as he wasnt coming over for another month,,,when i checked his original e-mail the gremlins had change the date back to what he had said.
Its the GREMLINS,i swear it is

I was once convinced the postman had stolen a set of car keys that I believed existed but didn't.

Old age gets to us all although a lot of my forgetfulness is actually an over-zealous wife putting stuff away as soon as it hits a surface (even if you're still reading it).

I cannot find the belt for the trousers I wear to work FFS
Hope the button on the trousers survives until I find it again.

I hate having to live between 2 houses.

I had a day off yesterday. Forgot and came into work.

Not a good sign.
