In the process of replacing PCCBs on my GT4, first time working on it, so learning as I go!

Got the front calliper off and the 2 screws locating the disc on the hub are removed. Was hoping then to simply pull the disc off….but no, it’s stuck firm

I’m guessing the disc centre has corroded onto the hub?? Or have I missed something?

I'm afraid that I can't answer your question, but what are you replacing them with ?

If the disc were iron I'd put a wheel bolt back on and tap the disc with a rubber or copper mallet. You may be able to do the same with your PCCBs but be warned you may damage the PCCB disc if you do.

Thanks, yes, same approach as iron but but a lot more cautious! Wooden block over the disc and a firmer tap than I was doing earlier - moved very easily then

On iron discs there's 2x tapped holes on the disc bell which line up with a flat section of the hub. You thread 2x bolts into these if it's stuck on to remove the disc without any hammering, Do ceramics not have these? Bit of an oversight if not tbh.

If it's rears make sure the handbrake is off smile
