I have just bought this beautiful Atlantic 75. She is, of course, an ex RNLI Inshore lifeboat (B-731) and spent her service life in Trearddur Bay, North Wales (Dorothy Selina).
She has led a pampered life since then, and has been kept in immaculate condition. She was built in 1996 and retired from front line service in 2010, after being involved in the saving of 89 lives in total.
She looks incredible for an almost 30 year old boat.
She will be heading to Greece soon to be a work boat for our charter operation (www.nisosyachtcharter.com). We currently run an Atlantic 21, which was the Sidmouth Inshore Life boat (B-577) for many years. The Atlantic 21 will remain in service alongside the 75.
Here is a thread on the 21 if anyone is interested

Nice purchase and great boats. I occasionally work on one.
Are you keeping the two 2 strokes? They are fairly thirsty! I suppose reliable and easy to fix though!
We run the Yamaha 90's on the Atlantic 21 and they are a great engine - very reliable and fixable. But, sadly now unavailable to buy new.Are you keeping the two 2 strokes? They are fairly thirsty! I suppose reliable and easy to fix though!
We shall change the current engines on the Atlantic 75 to 115 - 4 strokes next year hopefully. The Atlantic 21 can't really handle the weight of 4 strokes.
