Sony WH1000XM4
Discussion
Have a bit of annoying problem (which is probably my fault).
Use the headphone, either Blutooth to my phone or Blutooth to a Denon CD Amp with a plug in BT transmitter.
They have a tendence to switch off with a beep sound, restart easily enough with the touch of the on/off button.
It tends to happen if I touch them or move one ear piece to hear my wife muttering. Sometimes just moving my head does it.
Am I inadvertently switching them off or is there a fault?
(Just done it while typing this then after 10 seconds switched on again by themselves!).
thanks for listening.

The XM4s have a feature in them called "Speak to Chat" so if they detect your voice, they will pause the music and turn the Noise Cancelling in reverse so you can hear conversations clearly - effectively automating what happens when you hold the right can.
Drove me up the wall until I figured out what it was and turned it off - great idea but far too sensitive.
If you've got the Headphones app you can turn it off in there, I'm also told holding two fingers on the touch sensitive pad on the right can will turn it off as well if you don't have the app.

Went into the app earlier today, yet to try the headphones out again. Hope that fixed it, was doing my head in, thought there was something wrong.
Yep, especially if like me you tend to hum along, or wear them when mowing the lawn. Just tried the two finger trick - hold them down for a couple of seconds and Posh Jane interrupts the music to tell you she's turned it off/on.
