1000hp dog wagon. What a mental thing. Props to the owner for keeping the car visually understated.

Appreciate the feedback, my intention was to build something that looked and drove like a factory E63 but with a few clicks everything turns to the complete opposite.
It's quiet and comfortable even retaining factory cylinder shut down giving a respectable 25-32mpg when driving normally or motorway.
Then when things get wild, it's got a lovely overrun, beautiful sounding V8 that just loves to be used, the mid range punch is something else.
Just an all round Jekyll and Hyde experience, very capable round a circuit given it's weight, brakes will fade before any sign of oil/water getting too hot.
Genuinely been a pleasure to build and use over the last 5 Years.
It's maintenance record is longer than my arm, I'm very particularly when it comes to warming up, cooling down and keeping things fresh with regular oil changes, gearbox/diffs included.

Did you need to make any gearbox/clutch/driveshaft changes to cope with all that extra oomph?

The front differential is an updated version with better internals (much stronger) but other than that it's all just careful tuning.
These 9G boxes are extremely resilient and I've used the car in numerous applications with no issues at all.
It's had it's oil changed every 12 months with readaptations every time.
It's mostly in the tuning though, torque management and slip control on the clutches, things like having the cold limiter raised to 60c before it'll allow full torque etc.

Hats off to the seller, one of the best OG video's Jamie has done (and down to earth owners too). Be interested to see a video of it on track at a trackday.

Now off to see how much my 1st born is worth...

Thank you, Jamie is one of nicest guys I've ever met.
Honestly had such a good day!
There might be some videos knocking around on my Google drive, I'll see if I can find them.

Here's one of the runs, hub dyno.

Just a quick comment as I've had a few people ask about the video.
Launch control is fully working now as well as other improvements after the video was made, this was filmed back in 2022.
I dare say it's a little faster overall and definitely more refined in normal driving mode, since dialing the car in with more tuning after making logs coupled with other changes (uprated bovs etc) it's now perfect.
