Bit of a strange one. They walked past people they could have shot.

Fired shots randomly in a direction (not hitting anyone) and then ran back towards the train.

Indeed. The attention-grabbing headline writes itself:

Shot Fired in the Air in Foreign Country - No One Hurt'

The sub-heading, one to increase the drama, could be:

Tram Lines Disrupted

They are missing big news here.

Don't worry Derek, PH's finest will root out and promote any story that they can use to demonise 'the others'.

Nothing to see here!.....

Totally normal events where people shoot semi-automatic rifles in public places.

For someone with a nervous / anxious outlook on life, if my wife saw that it would make her house bound for a few months and probably have a life long toll on her

Sounds trivial but we can’t have people out in public in Europe with semi automatic weapons, shooting or not

Maybe in Europe it's a frequent occurrence and you get used to it.

Dunno about where you two get your news but I saw this on the Beeb yesterday.

It's almost as if you only read news sources that want to offend..

You sure it was yesterday and not Wednesday?

I was using Google search yesterday and most of the articles were from Wednesday and nothing new on Thursday.

There have apparently been 4 shooting incidents in Brussels this week. So you may have heard about a different one.

Yes, it didn't appear to be an attempted mass shooting considering they were standing next to members of the public they could have shot.

Probably went to their rival's turf and fired some shots to give the area some heat and be problematic for day-to-day operations with the increased police presence.
