Anyone had anything similar?
About 10 times a day. I'm also a school run Dad.

There are 2 types of married men :

1) Married men who find themselves attracted to other women

2) Liars

Acting on it is a very different thing though.

Yes.

It’s a crush. Enjoy the fantasy of running away with her with no repercussions, have a wk, slap yourself around the face & get on with your life.

That’s what I did.

Still happily married.

The other alternatives are:

-confess your feelings to her, she thinks you are creepy, confides in a friend, who tells your wife.
This is a bad choice.

-continue to be chatty & flirt a bit, she responds and you begin a torrid and passionate affair. Partners find out. 2 divorces and your kids & her kids get messed about royally. This is a bad choice.

-continue to be friendly, don’t make any advances and see what happens. It may fizzle out or may become something.

If it doesn’t go anywhere:
You have a platonic female friend. I have a couple, it’s not that odd.
This is a good choice.

If it becomes something:
Still 2 divorces and messed about kids but at least you’ve not had an affair. This is a bad choice, but better than the first two.

I’m no prude and at the end of the day you have to do your thing. But I would tread very carefully indeed.
School yard affairs are like workplace affairs.
Everyone knows, and they are seldom successful.

I thought this was the only reason to do the school run?

Now, where did I leave my kids?

Have a wk and see if you still feel the same afterwards.

If you do feel the same, don't act upon it, it won't end well.

Have another wk.

Repeat.

If you are daft enough to act upon it, you'll be able to slightly change your username.

Your wife will see to that.

You'll be... byebye

Thanks it seems I’m not alone then ! A crush for sure.. I’ve no idea if she has picked up on it though!

I suppose if she thinks I’m a creep she’ll give me a wide berth. As I said , it’s probably one way, I have no reason to even think she has similar feelings, atleast I don’t get that impression anyway.

Me talking to her will she think I’m flirting? Is it that obvious?
Maybe she's separated and gagging for it. She has nothing to lose, you do!

Hope you washed your hand first.

Anyways, same as what everyone above has put.

I thought his username appears to be quite apt, as it appears he will.

Probably this... just not at the picnic table... if you do do it at the picnic table outside school then at least it's a problem you likely won't have to have again hehe

Its normal, like others have said there is a difference between looking and touching.

My wife has admitted she fancies her best mate who is also female. I said the same to her look but not touch haha.

You guy clearly don't need to get to work on time, I do 90% of the school runs, it's probably the biggest stress event of the day. From the moment I get up, hitting the time targets is the only focus, I can probably write it up as a work QI report, with KPIs and all. It's now an embed process, with all stake holders aligned to culutral expectations, but still needs daily attention to prevent a slide in performance.

Normally get there 15 minutes early to get parking/turn the car round, than it's mad dash back to the car before the traffic madness starts and you end up 15 minutes late to work. Taking the pedal bike helps, but these days everyone is mounting the pavement when parking so trying not scratch a row of Teslas with the pannier takes some effort smile.

Pickup is simply about getting to school before afterschool club shuts, and or trying to get it all done before between afternoon meetings. I see lots of parents just standing around chatting, or generally taking life slow, I can tell which cars are ferrying which kids, as for parents no idea, and honestly who cares (or has the time to care).

Though my daughter did make me take the number of her new best mates dad. That was one of the most awkward social situations Ive been in for a long while, two grown men trying to work out how to avoid the situation (and get to work) whilst their 8 year olds bark instructions on swapping numbers.......maybe I should text him on the back of this thread smile.

A standing cock has no conscience so don’t get yourself into a situation where he can come out to play.

I think that about covers it.

Women will be more or less the same.
