This has to be one of the nicest 997 911's i've seen ... comprehensive service history, very well maintained ...right engine, right gearbox and the bodykit just is the cherry on top.

Happy bidding everyone, someone is going to get a superb car

Looks like a lovely car. Just a couple of questions.

It says "Significant rebuild/servicing", has it had an engine rebuild?

It says the seller has removed the carbon front lip. Does that come with the car?

Has there been any recent borescopes done?

I don't know if this year had the larger IMS, but it would be good to know the situation on that one.

Thanks,

Alex

Hi Alex , thank you for your interest in the car and your questions.

I will allow the seller to cover off the queries you have mentioned.

Thank you for pointing out the mention of "rebuild/servicing" This should be ignored ( we have now deleted) with our apologies . Writers use templates for certain models of cars and one template has "significant rebuild/servicing .... etc " this unfortunately had not been deleted in editing.

Rest assured the car has NOT had any significant rebuild .... but it has had significant servicing as you can see ...

Once again our apologies for any confusion caused .

Good luck with your bidding ..its a cracking car and hard to find better anywhere

Hi Alex

To your other questions:
I understand that the carbon-look front lip was a cosmetic addition by one of the previous owners – I removed it because it was getting chipped (to reveal plastic underneath) and for me it spoiled the authenticity of the car. The car was first registered 01/09/2005 (55-reg), 2006 model year by chassis number, with the larger IMS bearing. There has been no recent borescopes done, but no cause to do so.

Thanks
David

Hi,
Can you comment on any suspension bushes / arms replacement?

Thanks
Wayne

Hi Wayne, during my ownership, there's been no need to upgrade or replace the suspension parts. From the invoices I can see that the suspension was given a full inspection and the diagonal arms were replaced in July 2012 by Center Gravity in Warwickshire.
The engine mounts were replaced in January 2021.
