D battery chargers

Just bought a battery charger from Screwfix - my old charger got damaged in a building job

It wont charge the rechargeable batteries - it is a UBS job and looks cheap

Scrolling through Amazon reviews, their ones dont fill my with hope either

Anyone know where to get decent D battery chargers these days?

I've had one of these for ten years and it works well. Like everything, it seems a lot more expensive now than ten years ago.

Check you're using a powerful enough USB Supply

It comes with its own USB cable but not plug. I am wondering if the plug im using is maybe downrated?

Should come with its own plug really.

I might take it back and check out the EBL one, I saw that on Amazon and it was similar to the one I used to have that worked.
