Half Sleeve exhaust

Does anyone have some pictures of a successful half sleeved exhaust. Does the straight through pipe go at the front of the silencer box and perforated at the back. Then repack the silencer with wadding? I don't want to end up with a whistling exhaust. Thanks all

Put it in the middle, cute a section of the perf pipe bout an inch shorter than the solid pipe you are installing, slide the new pipe over one end then centralise it. Tack weld to secure in place and repack the wadding. Replace outer box.
Cherry bomb is best though.
When I had TVRs I tried every possible version of exhaust and the best IMO is main cat in, pre cats out and cherry bombs in the silencer. You can do it yourself with eBay ones or ACT and pay more
