Sky box abroad

I'm guessing if you can use Sky Go with a VPN then in theory you could use the streaming puck or whatever they give you now as well.
Don't quote me though.
Edit - looks like you can with a VPN https://www.skycards.eu/product/sky-stream-puck-mu...
Seems like it may be a bit hit and miss depending on which VPN you go with, if you believe the sales blurb in that site above.

Sky are very active at blocking Sky Go from working with VPNs. It was being unable to watch a F1GP race when in France despite having a sub that rapidly removed Sky from my life.I’d consider setting up either a router that can host a site to site vpn or set up a Linux or pi hosting one.
Then get a router in the remote location that can also handle connecting to a site to site vpn.
That way it will look as if the device is located within you own home and should be unnoticed by sky.
Obviously you need sufficient bandwidth ~25Mb/s uplink from you main home.
And likely need to develop some networking skills though there are plenty of youtube instructions for site to site vpn’s
