Good value, singles with great B-sides
Discussion
If you're a fan of Oasis then some of their b-sides were fantastic, my favourite would be "Half the World Away" on the B-side of "Whatever".
Don't really remember any b-sides apart from randomly "Tabitha's Island" on "Hanging Around" by Me Me Me (which is awful, don't waste your time looking it up).

ocean colour scene released an album of all their b-sides [b-sides, seasides and freerides]. it is still one of my favourite albums. stronger, more mature and less showy than their regular output of the time.
i think the beatles can claim to give most value, some truly great songs were on the b-side. i am the walrus, come together, strawberry fields etc.
biggest imbalance i can think of would be elvis. hound dog was a b-side to [googles it] don't be cruel yet one of the first songs you'd think of when his name is mentioned.

For me, the ultimate is Ohmna. Quite astonishing that this was the b-side.

Pretty much every Elvis Costello single had a great B side.
Slight drift off topicJust the other day a song came into my head I’d not heard in years, the theme song to the film Party, Party. I really enjoyed hearing it again, not as good as something like Alison but still a catchy song.
I was a big fan of the Bernard Butler era of Suede. This garnered some absolute belters. They put quite a bit of effort into their b-sides & these have become fan favourites & could’ve easily have been album tracks.
The single Stay Together has My Dark Star as a b-side. Bloody marvellous!
We Are The Pigs had Killing of a Flash Boy & Whipsnade, both absolute belters.
Depeche Mode.
World In My Eyes has Sea Of Sin on the b side, a great track that’s filthy, I can imagine Gahan having a bit of a smirk as he sang it.
Already mentioned but Oasis pulled a blinder with Aquiesce.
