It was 25 years ago. What next, an inquiry to learn lessons from the R101 disaster?

I think we need to establish once and for all why the Light Brigade charged into the Russian gun batteries. After all, we could soon find ourselves at war again.

Lessons need to be learned

....the Princes in the Tower Inquiry! If it saves just one aristocratic child it will be worth it.

I demand to know why we couldn't stop the Romans invading.

What did they ever do for us?

It has been believed on both sides of the border for many years, that the authorities knew in advance what was probably happening, and made no effort to stop it. The victims' families are understandably annoyed and upset. They have been putting pressure to get this inquiry for many years.

I think it's fair to let them have what is their due.

Not sure if it's worthwhile unless findings are actionable.

Otherwise, best left alone.

Especially if it's something akin to the actions of the MRF in the early 70's

That's my take.

The political landscape has completely changed so there is zero chance anything useful could be learned. Complete waste of money at best and a high chance of being counter productive.

If there's some information someone wants to release, fine, it doesn't need barristers to do that.
