Has the 992.2 touring been made any more road friendly?

Price seems expensive for what is just a small software update..

Everything in software is easy when you know how. Expertise and experience costs.

Pretty sure that the GT/RS tax applies on this one.

The price seemed to also include an alignment.

Ah, in which case seems more reasonable.

They charge an extra £150 + Vat for the wheel alignment

Yes I stand corrected. Heard that geo is a further outlay earlier today from someone else.

Also if you go for the S/T Rear Spoiler setup you have to in addition pay for the gurney flap @ £583 inc VAT, not very clear on the website.

So if you go for S/T suspension mod/ S/T Spoiler mod/ Gurney Flap/ 4 wheel alignment you are looking at £3.1k

Does seem quite expensive, probably a good 4 wheel alignment at say Centergravity would be a better investment for road use?

Center Gravity are fantastic - but there's a limit to what they can do re ride quality without changing the hardware. I took mine to them and they helped the ride by adjusting the height slightly and changing the tyres from Cups to more road friendly Goodyears.

They also transformed the way it steered via an alignment and other adjustments but that didn't affect ride either way

Software updates and new controllers have been popular upgrades for a good while now. If they’ve cracked the coding for the S/T then it sounds like a very good value upgrade for someone that wants the car primarily for the road. Much cheaper than buying an S/T and one thing that center gravity can’t do. I’m sure they’d fit the single mass flywheel from the S/T as well.
