I've only watched two of the four episodes so far but for anyone that enjoys Guy Martin stuff they're a nice watch.

The wildlife warden on the Calf of Man definitely appeals to me more than a trawlerman, I'm haunted by the visuals of the fish stuck looking out of the nets.

(Mods: I searched and didn't find any mention of this already but if it's already being discussed somewhere please delete this)

I'll probably see these at some point but for me, Guy drifted from being essential to non-essential viewing...I think perhaps the novelty of dropping his personality into a situation and filming it had just worn off a bit.

Quite enjoyed the fishing one, he is a grafter. Don’t think, no I know I couldn’t do this a a job. Hard dangerous work.

Shame the best fish is exported to the continent. Says it all about the Scot’s attitude to fresh fish unless it is in batter.

The best, freshest fish must be the last caught? And fetch a better price?

I buy fish in Arbroath where the fishing fleet is, all the fish is very fresh. Plenty of haddock of course much better taste than cod but you struggle to buy the better fish as the restaurants buy the whole fish or they are sold to the continent

Plenty of lobster too, buy it cooked and fresh don’t think about cooking it yourself the smell is awful when being cooked.

Just found this series on Dave.
Thoroughly enjoying it so far.
He seems to just dive in and take to whatever role he's given.
Watched the firefighter last night, some interesting interviews with those in the profession.
I don't EVER want to be a on a trawler.

I really enjoyed the firefighter episode...you could tell it was pretty intense training but as usual with Guy he just got his head down and cracked on. I do enjoy pretty much all the programs he's involved with though.
