25 – 27 July 2025 – Imola Classic
Discussion
I haven't been to Imola Classic before but I have been to Monza Classic and it might be organised by the same people and I also have been to Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari , AKA Imola circuit 3 or 4 times ,last time in 2019 so I will give you a general circuit guide , assuming you have not been there before .
You can enter the circuit from 3 or 4 roads ,at the main entrance , go over the bridge , follow road to the right and go under the circuit and you will come to a car park behind the start finish straight grandstands.
There is also a cafe there on the corner .
Being as you are likely to be there on practice and qualifying only day , the stands should be open and you are unlikely to have to pay to go and sit down on the large concrete steps , there were no actual seats in them .
You will probably want to visit the Ayrton Senna tribute , follow the circuit in the direction of racing and it is only a couple of 100 metre away at Tamburello , I think there is a sign too .
Keep walking further and you will see another memorial ,to Gilles Villeneuve , he didn't die at Imola but Enzo wanted a tribute ,so one was put up .
Walk further to Tosa corner , there is a grandstand there too ,gates are likely to be locked but entry is available over the fence via a "ladder" .
I used this ladder along with others, no one came along to tell us to leave and the nearby marshals didn't care either .
The tribute to Roland Ratzenberger at Tosa is just a small sign on the fence .
You cannot walk to the next corner as it is all overgrown wooded but if you walk back to the entrance to Parca Acqua Minerale ,turn right and you will go through the park and come out at the corner of the same name .
You will also have seen a car park at Tosa , this is one of the alternative entry points to the circuit ,accessed from a ring road that goes round the outside of the whole circuit .
If you keep walking around the circuit fence , you will get to Rivazza the final corner , this area is fenced off with a gate at either end , may or may not be open to access this area .
It is not a long circuit so easily walkable by most .
As said earlier .I last was there 6 years ago and Formula 1 has returned since then so some stuff is likely to have changed and been tidied up a bit .
I also might be going on the 27th
I hope some details of the entry and what races are on and a timetable will be online nearer the time .

Thankyou for your detailed description of getting around the circuit.
I’ve always been a motorsport fan so Imola would be really awesome to see after watching it on TV for decades. I do hope there’s some more details released as since we are flying back on the 27th I’m not totally convinced on how much track action there would be on the 25th and 26th. Couldn’t find many videos of the previous Imola Classic on YouTube either ( seems a fair bit of the Minardi day).
The advert I’ve seen suggests a ‘parade’ so guessing not a Goodwood Revival style racing event. If I was by myself I would 100% be going but got my wife and kids in tow so need to consider if it’s worth it or I just do the Ferrari museum in Maranello then afternoon tour in Bologna.
Thanks
