Hi,

I have Bought a Pre-owned Vantage with Tracker fobs and I have been given no information about the tracker, ie who to contact regarding usage/operation.

Can anyone assist with my situation.

Regards John

They're normally vodafone, post a photo here someone will be able to tell you. If they are vodafone you just need to call vodafione while in the car with the fobs and they'll get you set up

Hi,

Thanks MMarkM - I've just looked at the tiny writing on the tracker plastic block and it does say Vodafone. I will give them a call.

Just wondering if is possible to continue without the annual subscription and leave the Vodafone plastic block at home ie would this have any effect on the car.

Regards John

I bought a used Vantage last year and it came with the black Vodafone Cobra fobs. My insurer does not ask for a tracker so I dont subscribe. The tracker was not enabled when I bought the car. I have not had to do anything and I dont carry the fobs with me.

Thank you bogie - That is reassuring news. I also don't want to subscribe but was worried about the impacted on the car.

Much appreciated. John

If you are not using the tracker suggest you have it disconnected if it isn’t already as they have a history of sometimes draining the battery.

I don't think that applied to the Vodafone CobraTrak trackers - it was the earlier version.
