Camskill generally have best prices; you just need to get them fitted locally for £beertokens

245/35/19s here: https://www.camskill.co.uk/m55b0s4029p0/Car_Tyres_...

Personally I'd go for the Goodyear Assym6s - superb tyres. Have them on ur F31, 235/45/18s all round and they're fantastic

Are you sure your tyres are the same size all round (generally they're staggered sizes, front/rear); unless you've fitted a straight set of wheels on the car

Thanks chaps for links and advise. The tyre size is for rear tyres and yes the fronts are a different size. Forgot that earlier.

I'd still recommend the Goodyear Assym6 6s. All round too

Pilot Sport 4/4S or 5 if they make it. I’ve used Eagle F1s/Sport Contact 5/6 for years. Then changed to Michelin. The Michelins give similar grip, the difference is better ride quality.

Where in the UK do you live? Do you need to consider all seasons or just normal summer tyres? E60 came on RFTs iirc, are you sticking with those?

Generally I go for Michelin Pilot Sports or Goodyear Eagle F1s.

However, the mid-range brands such as Kumho and Hankook are worth considering.

And thank you Helix for your input, appreciated. I live in Suffolk so I do not have to consider Summer / Winter tyre options. A reasonable all rounder should be fine for my use. Also the car is used as a second car only, the daily grind taken up by our very old bus. At the moment the car is running Hankook tyres which I have not had a problem with, but always looking to improve at like for like costs, or thereabouts.

Have you thought about all-seasons?

I run Michelin CC2s on my 130i and Goodyear Vector Gen3s on our F31 as winters; but they're superb tyres and if I had to, I'd run either all year round without a problem

One thing I've seen mentioned a few times recently is folk that stick to summers all year round; on the UK section of Bimmerpostforums, on here and M3Cutters etc, is that those that have moved onto the likes of the Goodyear Assym6s and Conti SportContact 7s have said they've been better in the cold and wet over previous PS4s, PS5s etc

I've got PS5s on mine and run them all year round. Not the cheapest, but actually pretty good value considering how long they last compared to other premium tyres. Plenty of grip in the dry, absolutely brilliant the wet and they even worked fine when I ended up taking the 1 Series out in the snow earlier in the winter.

Thank you for all inputs, have decided to give the Goodyear’s A6 a spin.
