I am in the market for a tablet around the 10-11" size and in the region of £500. I would prefer Android as I use an Android phone. A stylus would be a great advantage too. The Samsung S9FE seems decent but is there anything else to be recommended? Cheers

Good to hear, thanks for that. The reviews were all positive online so think it is one of those I will get. Thanks again.

Any other recommendations?

Watching with interest as I've just been tasked with finding one for a friend and as I'm a Mac person no little about Android.

Friend only needs for the larger screen as is finding a phone to small for day to day stuff, emails, banking, messages and the like.

Lenovo M10 Gen3 is very good and hardly any bloatware.

Cheap too and very good all-rounder and has stylus.

The OnePlus Pad is supposed to be excellent.

HONOR Pad X8a, 11-Inch Wi-Fi Tablet, 128GB Storage, 8300mAh Battery, Quad-speaker, Slim Metal Design, Android 14, Space Grey

I bought two of these.
Thet are £130 each on Amazon
They are absolutely great and you could buy 4 for your budget. They are absolutely as good as the two prestige branded ones they replaced.

I have the one plus pad 2 and it is excellent. Long battery life, superb screen, and very fast. Minimal OnePlus bloatware too. The only downside is the camera tech isn't best in class but I don't use my tablet for taking photos so that isn't an issue for me.

The stylus is a great addition too.

Well that's thrown a few more into the mix! The One Plus got best buy reviews so I really should look at it too. I have a Lenovo laptop which is absolutely brilliant, so can imagine their tablets would be good too. Interesting to hear the feedback on the Honor one, hadn't considered those at all but will look at those too. Many thanks again for the suggestions.

Lenovo battery saver drives me nuts, can't disable it without getting renabled
Wouldn't buy another

I got one of these last month, with the folio case and stylus. (3rd gen M11)

It's ok, but definitely a case of you get what you pay for.
Performance isn't great, but it's passable for simple lightweight use at home.
Lenovo's UI is pretty ok, but inconsistent in some places. Lacks polish.
Basic OS functions from recent versions of android are either unavailable or more complex to access than they need be, given the UI skin Lenovo use.

But I'm comparing it to a Pixel Tablet I bought 2 years ago. So again, it's important to keep the price point in mind. Definitely a case of you get what you pay for.
There's a part of me wondering how the P11 would compare with the M11, and if it has enough extra processing power to make the user experience smoother.

I turned it off, and it has stayed off.
It did take a few weeks for battery life to stabilise though. It was shocking in the beginning. (So shocking I contemplated returning it in the first week of ownership.)

What are the Pixel Tablets like? I have had a couple of Chromebooks and found them ok but not great, however with the Tablet running Android I am guessing they are decent?

Pixel Tablet is a fine tablet.

Quick and smooth to use. Great user interface and user experience. Still very happy with it nearly two years later.
Should be possible to get good deals on it now by biding your time and watching for offers.

The one caveat to be aware of is that it doesn't have GPS or SIM support, if either of those are important to you in a tablet.

They don't seem to do a stylus though, unless I am mistaken, which is a shame as one of the reasons I want a tablet is to complete various forms for my business.

As I understand it the Pixel Tablet is compatible with any USI 2.0 stylus.

Apologies for the hijack but also looking into Android tablets at the minute and am considering either the Pixel Tablet or the S9 FE. It will be mostly used for general browsing but am also going to use it for work when I'm traveling, so will need a decent amount of grunt as we use Android Work Profiles which has a habit of slowing things down to a crawl.

Which do we think will be best suited?

Also I've got an old Samsung S3 Tab which came with an S Pen - can I reuse that on one of the newer models? I assume the keyboard cover that came with the S3 won't work with the S9?
