I kept an eye on this for a couple of months as spec looks very good. Plumped for a gen 1 car instead, but was told that both turbos and feed pipes have been replaced on this one. A google search will tell you this is quite common on gen 2 cars, even on low mile cars.

My thoughts are...as I've rather boringly outlined in other threads...and by no means meant to trigger anyone or offend the OP:

991.2
the turbo engine has a fair bit less character than the older NA ones
PDK whilst fast and efficient and by no means "wrong", doesn't have the engagement of the manual
white body and a completely black interior is a tad dull...
don't like privacy glass
do you NEED rear seats?

love a sunroof
love the colour badges on the alloys
love silver alloys
love a heated steering wheel smile

You've been searching for a year...test drive everything

At that price band I’d be looking at 991.1 GTS, 991.2 T maybe, and a cayman GT4

South Lakes price there cars high, there is always room for negotiation but it will take a few goes with them to get a good deal.

I will have a look but also keep my eye out for at other OPC.
This car is at my top budget and the warranty appeals to me a lot.

Is there a way of searching the whole of the U.K. OPC for a certain model / price range ?

991.1 S, GTS
981 Boxster GTS, Spyder (man only)
981 GTS, GT4 (man only)
718 GTS, GT4 or Spyder

The 991.1 is probably the most reliable engine in the 911 range out there. You do not have the complications of the turbos failing (as per Mr PG’s comments) and you have the naturally aspirated sound of the engine from 5K revs upwards. When that engine how kicks in you will not care if anyone else’s car is faster than yours. It is ecstatic.

One thing I must point out (being a first time Porsche owner myself as of 2023) is that it is not about speed!

It is about the driving experience. I had a 600+HP SL63AMG which was a monster. My 991.1 has 400HP and is by far a more complete and pleasurable driving experience. Literally night and day.

As long as you keep that in mind you will enjoy either a 991.1 or a 991.2 - you know where my preference lies.
