Good morning all!

I am thinking of getting back in to a BMW. I have had many including 2 ALPINA B5's but became so disillusioned with constant problems on my more recent G30/G31 cars I sold them and swore never again. I bought a diesel Mondeo which to be fair is a really good car. I am however missing some of the BMW toys like auxiliary heating, head up display and massage seats etc.

I am looking at a post 2019 750i. How are the engines in these for reliability? My F10 B5 with the notorious N63 was woeful and used to drink a litre of oil every 400 miles. My G30 B5 was superb no issues at all ( REALLY regret selling it ). I would be very interested to know peoples experiences with these before I take the plunge and get burnt again.

Thanks all for your wisdom!

The latest and most powerful N63B44T3 (with 530 bhp) which came in from 2019 is easily the most reliable, and in my view (having had two of them in an X5) it is now an engine that should not be considered unreliable, and in fact offers a perfect blend of power, economy and refinement.
