Do these sell out at all? I assume not, but worth asking. A friend of mine is coming to the Classic by train, and guess this is quieter than the 24hr so doubt she’ll need to be poised on 12th Feb to get things booked.

I've done it for the classic - change platforms at Lille on the Eurostar to save using the metro in Paris to change stations.

Really easy to do and good run each way. If you're lucky then they'll do a token payment for an upgrade to first class on the TGV.

Friday and Saturday trains to Le Mans and Sunday trains back to Paris do sell out, yes. I'll be on the Friday early afternoon service.

Even the Classic weekend? Better be on the ball next week to get the direct trains booked then.
