Perhaps check the spelling before you do so...

While you spend your time correcting mistakes to make yourself feel important, I've published it on kindle. Again, great your valuable time is used to correct obvious mistakes on a car forum. Kudos to you

I have three mates who are published fiction authors, with multiple books, they still hold down day jobs, but all rely heavily on editors to tidy the manuscripts up, especially the one who is a journalist!

So try and find someone willing to go through it critically for as little as possible.

None of the above have self published, so their publisher assisted with editing and proof reading.

no lol. £2.5 you can buy it. Probably just make it free.

Just waiting for Amazon kindle to review it.

It was inspired by Wasdale in the lake district. Has a pub at the end of a road. I thought what would happen if a murderer lived there, could kill hiker etcs. hiking in isolated places, how people could just disappear. Just rolled from there.

My next book is about a kid who opens portals in time(yes portal the game but I've never played it), to try and save his dad from dying.

This thread has inspired me to compile one of humorous forum posts.

But I'm going to struggle to find anything to top this.

I don't think the response was meant with any ill feeling (or make the poster feel self important) - it was just genuinely funny

I'm not sure how successful kindle is, but the process is great and also you can print hardback copies on demand.

Just not sure anyone would buy it, I guess promotion is the only way .

How about telling us what it isn't actually called, but is very nearly called?

I'm 50,000 words into the second of a trilogy (first is with an agent) and 35,000 into another novel about a fraudster.
