Is it just me or has it all gone to st?

All my videos are now buried within layers of folders. Been bumped from the pro version as they're trying to charge a card that expired four years ago, despite charging the current card previously and can't activate this again. Player requiring two or three refreshes before video plays. Prompts to visit pages are met with 'page not found' messages. Bot chat as much use as the proverbial chocolate teapot.

Somewhat infuriating!

I use Vimeo off an on, and will use them more later this year. It's always been a bit clunky for me, not helped by frequent, and bemusing, changes to the UI.

Is there a specific reason for using Vimeo in preference to YouTube?

I use You Tube as a showcase platform and Vimeo to share draft edits and send files.

I use the pro version which enables me to brand pages with my company name rather than Vimeo. Some of the security settings are more robust and I do a fair bit of work involving vulnerable people which needs such protection. Ad free for user and viewer and more what a client expects.

Vimeo tends to be geared more to the professional user whereas You Tube is more generic in this regard,

I've recently started to use Frame.io which is leaps and bounds better so may bin Vimeo and use that instead.

Thanks for the reply. I've heard of frame.io. Thanks for the recommendation.

Vimeo for ad free, but I've found it far from smooth.
