Might sound strange AC topic in middle of Jan. However some work on the car over winter months.

Since buying the car in October I have never put the ac on as knew I had to change the condenser. Fast forward and have changed the condenser along with dryer to renew the system. I got the system charged, but could not start the car as I was mid way through changing water pipes.

Fast forward to now, I started the car and all was well. However I noticed the ac condenser fan would kick in when ac was off but when put ac on the fan would stop. The compressor etc all working as it should…. However as I have never used it before I presume this is wrong?

I thought would check sensor on top of drier (someone mentioned might be this) in my haste when trying to peel back rubber I mistaking pulled wires off(see pic). If I solder them back on any idea which wire connect to which bit?

Feeling like a right numpty!!

I've recently purchased a new drier and trinary switch, but yet to fit. Unsure if the cover comes off my switch but i'll take a look tonight.

Andrew.

Update: unfortunately I wasn’t able to get the cover off my new trinary switch without feeling like I was going to break it.

Thanks Andrew for trying, much appreciated.

Silly question, any idea if reconnect and I get it wrong wouldn’t cause damage or just case reconnecting until correct 🙈
