‘25 Defender 110

Picked up a brand new ‘25 LR Defender 110, Pangea green with caraway Windsor leather interior and the 7-seat Family Pack. Its a lovely bit of kit, and drives better than something this big and utilitarian has any right to. 400hp from the petrol i6 is plenty, god knows what the Octa will be like!

Its joining the Lexus LX470, aka the Posh Landcruiser on the fleet, although that mostly does short journeys around the mountains these days, as the old girl has 200,000 miles on it. 10 inches of snow forecast tonight, so we have the right vehicles on hand…

It’s always great to see one of these in a tasteful colour and with plain and smallish wheels. I can’t stand all the black with black and more black ones, which are often covered with every single available accessory

Its a rare spec - we special ordered it built from LR. Everything on the lot was factory barried with blackout packs and stickers.

I love the caraway interiors. Ours is a “barried out” triple black 110 and mine has the 19” rims as I wanted maximum tyre sidewalls. Mine has the full length canvas roof which we optioned and is quite rare. Looking forward to some snow pictures.

Its really starting to come down! A big pot of chilli is on the stove, beers are chilling in the snow, fire lit in the fireplace
