When people say there is no such thing as a stupid question then this may well be the question proving them wrong.....

I've decided to move on from taxi's to a hired chauffeured Rolls Royce for travelling between hotels and airports but I'm worried how to get in and out of one. Best guess at the moment is I stay in the car when we arrive at our destination and the driver gets out and opens the door for me. I'm assuming that they will pull up with the pavement on one side and I have to swivel over to the correct side of the car before the door is opened. Then I get out (driver helps???) and wait there whilst he gets my suitcase out of the boot (carry on case stays in back of car with me or in the boot as well as suitcase??). Then I walk into the hotel and the driver follows with my luggage. He leaves me there, says goodbye and leaves (tip???)

I know this must sound like a third world problem but my ex husband used to jump out of a taxi, open the boot himself, take the luggage out, throw it on the pavement and slam the boot shut.

Assuming I'm wearing a dress or skirt on all occasions then have I got it abought right or is there a proper procedure somewhere?

Thanks
