F56 Aux input

Are these bad or just mine?

I'm using a carpuride unit to provide CarPlay with audio via the AUX input and it distorts at anything about 25% output from the carpuride.

The same unit (and another, I have 2) work perfectly in other cars including an R56 so either I have a knackered input on the F56 or they are just crap?

No knowing anything about how it works I'm guessing it either works or not hence the question about quality?

I use a tiny USB drive from Aliexpress ~£3 for 32G and ripped ~50 albums on to it. Works well on my F56. You can get 128G now and put 3-400 albums on it.

Thing is carplay is maps, audio, phone etc

Anyway, narrowed it down to definitely being the car, cant believe its as bad as it is so have ordered a new Aux of eBay for a tenner.
