Discussion
There's a 290 S at the next ACA auction (an S4 I presume?).

Seems to be have been off the road from 2022 - 24 by the MoT history so seems to have had a restoration of sorts. 130k on it but as we know, that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Anybody know anything more?

Most TVR's i have seen at recent auctions seem to go for little money. Grab a bargain maybe. My 2001 Chimaera 450 which i bought from classic motor auctions was inc fees £9450. Love the car & steeped in history. Perfeat chassis & engine /drivetrain, so they are out there to be grabbed. Cannot vouch for that one.

That'll be this one:

Not as good condition from the photos, similar mileage on MoT history, 123k miles, but a long list of advisories in July 2024.

There was an alarming gap between the hood edge and the bodywork on the passenger side just after the door (I forgot to photo it
) . It's not so obvious on the photos but you could see into the car. There is also that slightly too big gap between the rear wheels and the bodywork that seems to afflict most of the S models, due to suspension changes presumably.
The paint finish was good however. It just about made it to £6k, and sold (presumably the reserve or close to it), 8% fees on top.
