Hi guys

I have a Vantage from about a month year 2006 manual
I state that I come from 19 years of lotus elise s1 and the clutch pedal was very hard, I used WD 40 to soften it The pedal of my aston is not It's so hard but it's not as soft as in other cars I own
Is it just my vantage or is the hardness of the pedal calibrated in this way?
Thank you

Vantages with the standard single-plate clutch have a ‘heavy’ pedal. Quite smooth, but requires a good push.

When I first got mine, I was amazed at how heavy all the primary controls were, but I soon got used to it - you will too. After some time, you’ll come to think it’s normal and that all other cars have excessively light clutch pedals.

If you get to the point of needing a replacement clutch, make sure that you consider the twin plate option.
A very worthwhile upgrade.

Thank you. I noticed that by moving the seat higher I can operate the clutch without too much effort.
I must say that mine is a knee operated on the ligaments, which can also be considered.
Thank you for your kindness
