Looking at Pembrey for July but their info says no passengers unless they are signed on as drivers ! Never seen this before, my 21 year old loves to come along as passenger but won’t be driving as I can’t insure him.

Anyone comment on how strict they are with this ?

Last time I was there the rules were as you stated, only signed on drivers as passengers.

That drawback aside it’s a great circuit which runs a different layout in the afternoon and it’s well marshalled. They let you have a bit of fun but always keep it on the sensible side of reckless.

The solution is to book an additional driver, but not grant them driving privileges?

As above, he can be signed on as a driver, but not actually drive.

is it perhaps that to sign on as a driver, you have to attend the drivers briefing and safety briefing, so are a little more clued up? at some tracks passengers don't have to do any kind of briefing, just sign a waiver, which some probably don't bother reading...

but as above, if thats what pembrey require, just sign him on as a driver - guessing the difference is about £30 more?

Think that’s what I will have to do. I believe it’s £50
