Bimmerlink - as scanning tool
Discussion
Have an X3 M40D that seems to be prone to throwing a few random errors - I have a dongle I use with BimmerCode on my M2, so wondering if worth obtaining Bimmerlink too, to scan the X3?
Happy to investigate Ista too as I have a laptop lead after doing a widescreen recode on the M2 but maybe Bimmerlink will be a bit more user friendly if it can do the job?
Thanks

I've got both and they've been brilliant for my previous F01 and current F31 (and E81)Happy to investigate Ista too as I have a laptop lead after doing a widescreen recode on the M2 but maybe Bimmerlink will be a bit more user friendly if it can do the job?

If you've got Bimmercode, having Bimmerlink makes a lot of sense IMO

Bummercode and Bummerlink can both use the same dongle, but Bummercode doesn't support WiFi iirc.
I would definitely get ISTA as its the proper dealer level tool, but its not as intutive as Bummerlink, and is hideously slow.
Not sure what would come up if you scanned with those!I would definitely get ISTA as its the proper dealer level tool, but its not as intutive as Bummerlink, and is hideously slow.
