W163 ML Replacement Keys / Transponder

Hi all,

Bit of a long shot but thought I would see if anyone here can help.

I have a 2003 Ml55 W163. Manage to loose the transponder chip in my fob so need a replacement one creating in my car's EAM / DAS unit. Mercedes gave up on the W163 years ago and looking around my area ( west sussex / worthing ) the technology I need is long gone and hardily any auto keys companies does this for my car.

Looking on Youtube I need some ML Key creating s/w and h/w.

There is a place up in Brimmingham but this is miles from me, and although I can send him the keys I have and ECU I would rather have someone come to me, and programme it properly in front of me.

Any one know of anyone that still have the ability to create transponder chips for old Mercedes ?

You try reaching out to the team at MB Brooklands to see if they can offer any advice as they are quite good at looking after the older cars. Failing that search around your local independent specialists and they might have a contact that can help out.

Either way, it can definitely be fixed I'm sure and although I cant recall a name I'm sure there is someone in your part of the country that can help
