Morning all!

My power steering pump is on its way out, it's an LUK LF-30, part number 32416756582. BMW want more than £500 and there has been some grumbling that the BMW part is not half as good as the original one fitted. There are loads of no brand no doubt Chinese copies that come up on a google search, or on autodoc

There are also some remanufacturing services and even a firm called BGA that claims it remanufactures to new.

Any advice?

Used from Quarry Motors here (tried and trusted breakers):

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226519493700?_skw=LUK+L...

New here from Parts in Motion (tried and trusted resellers):

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/315864641238?_skw=LUK+L...

Brand new Meyle on here via Autodoc:

https://www.autodoc.co.uk/meyle/9534583?utm_medium...

I'd go that route personally

No worries

I've used Meyle stuff for years; never ever had any issues, at all. Every E39 I had (E38 before that, E65 and F01 after them) too; had more issues with Lemforder, TRW and OEM BMW!

For the cost the Meyle one seems a no brainer
