Has anyone actually bought a Macan EV and what discount?
Discussion
Be good to keep track of what people are managing to achieve, either new or used.
Now 178 on AT. A few started to be discounted.
A long way to go for the market based on the threads in this group!
What level of discount did you, or would you need to buy?

Will be going to test drive one next week - will be interested to see what is what.
Whilst not a huge drop I heard also rates are lower than the 11.9% they have been advertising, they have loads laying around so there must be some bargains knowing March 1st is not far away and I would have thought there will be ten more deals when the 25 plate pops up?

Seems like the type of car that should be £60k, maybe £70k at a push yet they're always 20-30k more than you expect.
I bet they're only selling to SS customers and even then I bet they're eye watering.
Yeah I think my wallet is waiting for them to be 60s or low 70s for a loaded turbo.I bet they're only selling to SS customers and even then I bet they're eye watering.
4S would then be a better value in the 40/50s.
Market correction is happening.
I was looking to order a Taycan sometime ago. What put me off was the really poor value for money. I just couldn’t see the justification for the extra cost. The building quality was not better, the standard equipment was appalling and even though they had loads of cars for sale my local dealership made zero effort in selling me one. I felt I am not that fussed about a Porsche to have to beg for a sale. Pretty poor imo.
Maybe when they have something interesting I really want I would ensure the experience.

I bought a non-Porsche EV just before Christmas and all dealers I went to were just like that. I’m convinced they don’t think private buyers will buy EVs so they don’t take you seriously. I ended buying new through a broker, and I paid same as nearly-new at dealers, which all seemed poor value.I fancy a Macan - a colleague loves his GTS - but immediately losing £30K+ would be unbearable to me.
