CarPlay for dbss. Near Leeds

Currently looking for recommendations for CarPlay to be fitted to my dbss near Leeds I have used Aston Installations in the past on other cars and they did a great job but they are quoting similar to Am Leeds £1500 I presume the kits are similar
What’s your thoughts ,personally I am leading towards am Leeds if anything goes wrong.

The AM dealer one is now version 2 which has addressed some issues with the first version. I got it installed mid last year and very happy with it, no issues at all.

Make sure that whatever you get fitted can be used wirelessly (wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto), as I think some of the offerings are/used to be wired only (requiring you to physically plug in a lead into the phone to enable it to work).

I have this unit installed in my 2019 Vantage (same Mercedes interface as your DBSS), and have found it satisfactory. I paid less than £1500 for mine.

£1100 supplied & fitted in Sept 2021. They may be cheaper now, as more prevalent.
