Dear all,
The donations are not compulsory - but every penny donated will go to our Estate charity, which this year is The Aldingbourne Trust (a very local charity to Goodwood who support adults with learning disabilities and autism to live as independently as possible). We're keen to use the incredible Breakfast Club community as a real force for good. The charity will change each year, and there is no obligation to donate - but we're hoping that we can really make a significant difference to the lives of many people - and their families.
Best wishes,
Sarah

Just a quick question for you.
I'm in the Fellowship and have a friend who isn't in the GRRC and would like to come as a passenger in my car. It says on the screen that I am allowed to apply for two tickets, can one of those be for him?
@hypnotoad
Firstly, there are two types of Breakfast Club events - three public events, and one GRRC event.
For the public events, every adult attending as a spectator must apply for their own ticket, which is free of charge with a suggested donation to our Estate charity. You can only book one ticket, so you can't book two and bring a friend. If you have applied to display your car and been accepted, however, you can bring guests into the event in your car, and they don't need to book their own tickets. However if they are driving separately to the event, and not travelling in your car, they must book their own tickets.
For the GRRC Breakfast Club, only GRRC members and fellows can book tickets, but you can book more than one (I can't remember exactly how many you can book off the top of my head - possibly up to four?) and your guests don't necessarily have to be in the GRRC - just like Members' Meeting, where you can book tickets for friends and family.
I hope that clarifies but as always, if you have ANY ticket related questions, by far the quickest way to get a definitive answer is to call the Ticket Office on 01243 755055.
Best wishes,
Sarah

I may be wrong and can't check at the moment but I thought the system allowed GRRC members to book a guest/child additions at the same time as booking yourself at all of the events, not just the GRRC one.Firstly, there are two types of Breakfast Club events - three public events, and one GRRC event.

Anyone heard if their car was selected for display Taxed and Tasty?
Only 2 weeks to go and haven't heard anything yet.
Nothing despite the email saying we will find out either way. I also can’t find any record of me purchasing tickets on the Goodwood website or app (not surprised) but I do have a confirmation email of booking. Only 2 weeks to go and haven't heard anything yet.
Just to follow up on this. Emails have now gone out. Goodwood are suggesting a £50 donation per car on display
shouldn’t it be Goodwood will donate £50 per car on display as the only reason people are attending is because of the displayed cars!
I’m all for charity and have said for a long time Goodwood should charge a nominal fee to reduce numbers but £10pp and £50pp suggested donation is hilarious.

Yup, got the email earlier and had that exact conversation with my friends. Maybe we should just all pull out then?
Don't mind paying a tenner but 50 quid to display my car!
@sarahgoodwood - You might want to feed that back. Whilst it all goes to charity, your suggested donation is on the verge of leaving a sour taste in the mouth of the owners that are supporting you.

I was accepted and just tried to make a credit card donation but received two error messages: "1 validation error occurred, Appeal must have a value" and then "Input validation failed".
I tried in good faith. I won't try again in case I am charged three times.
I had the same but if you do not donate is goes through I hope there is a way of donating on the day I tried in good faith. I won't try again in case I am charged three times.
I've applied for Taxed & Tasty in May, but unlike others have not heard anything back as yet?.. reading through the posts though I'm reminded of how far things have progressed. Who remembers when Toyo Tyres sponsored the Supercar Breakfast Meeting; Complementary Breakfast in the Control Tower and a free T-Shirt...wear mine most days and it's still going strong
If anyone has tickets to Taxed and Tasty next Sunday and can no longer make it I will happily take them off your hands and will make a charity donation to the Goodwood charity or a charity of your choice.
I know the resale of Goodwood FOS, revival and MM tickets is not allowed but on basis these are free tickets hopefully it is OK. Please delete if not.
Thanks
