Looked at Steam Packet and fully booked. Is there a waiting list or cancelation list for anything like this?

Might only be available as part of a package but even as little as a few weeks before there are always options available.

Ferry invoices from last year have to be paid by the end of Feb 2025. All bookings go on sale in March.

If anything you're a bit early. There is always availability after February when people see the balance they owe the Steam Racket and decide to do something else!

I fancy just going for the experience (I have been to the IOM before)

I presume I'll be able to get that going to the practice days and maybe not get screwed over so much on prices

Ride some green lanes in the morning and watch a bit in the afternoon with a beer
