I just saw a post for one of these!

So you all know the drill, 3.5 V6 powered Auris/Corolla. This particular car was a grade 4.5 with just 16k kms on the clock or a little over 10k miles, incredible find. And it looks and drives like a new car, even smells like one.

Blue nubuk/leather interior, decent stereo, 6 speed paddle shift box which will let you hold the red line if you wish, even rev matches on downshift haha. It handles tidily and can't half get a shift on.

Ive already got some lowering springs, just need to find the right wheels.

My other half is strangely compelled to possess one of these. I've been looking for a while, might have to start trying harder if 10k mile ones are still available.

TBH I've never heard of these before but I just love the idea. Saw the OP and had a scout around...there's a relatively recent clip on you tube by JayEmm. If I'd got a decent garage I'd try for one of these in a heartbeat.

I don’t know about low mileage ones, I just found it at a local dealer who had 6 of them. They varied between this one at 16, and up to 130k. Thing is the total production run was less than 3000, there’s lots over here and more in New Zealand. They do come with a 2.4 4 pot as well so you want the Blade Master for the V6

As I bumped the other tread after spotting the one on Autotrader it's only right I hope onboard this one to tease myself with these rarities some more smile

Looking forward to seeing the difference the springs and wheels make.

Because I want to keep this car today and, frankly, I don’t have anything better to do, I cleaned the wheel arches, crazy how clean this car is

It's my only saved advert now a few other cars have sold, it's not the car I need right now (and its not a "G") but I do really like the whole idea.

The first white one popped up in a video I was watching earlier...

That second S2 one looks very nice indeed (for what it is, these aren't necessarily lookers)

Just a point of note if youre like me, because I prefer the S2 and nearly bought a lovely metallic brown one, it had the winter pack so heated leather, screen etc but like the one in the ad, it didn't have cruise control, that's a deal breaker for me and even more so in Australia.

Pretty much decision made now, I can't go wrong here, because it's for my other half and it's her call, so if it goes tits up, I'm in the blame free zone. The fact that I'm all over it doesn't matter as I haven't instigated anything, so it's a totes win win as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully it'll be as reliable as the IS300 Sportcross it'll replace.

What was the next lowest mileage? It's the V6 or the deal's off for us.

Market wide no idea, the dealer I got mine from, the next lowest is 58k Kms so less than 40k miles
