I did enjoy Mat Armstrong’s NYD video on the Cullinan. Certainly did will with it…and the trip to Switzerland looked fun!

Agree on drive tribe. Zero interest in watching Hammond try and create his daughter a career.

It's really not great. Not just the presenting but the format and editing of the episodes is also all over the place which it really shouldn't be given the brand.

I like the dynamic between Hammond and his daughter, but I don’t think what they’re doing is aimed at the typical PHer.

True. It’s aimed at those who like puppies, cats and daisies

I unsubscribed months ago, it used to be an ok channel but has been boring for ages now.

Although somewhat naive / foolish to drive to a ski resort in winter on summer tyres and with no snow chains.

I guess the viewing figures will eventually sink in. I wonder if the bloke’s demise, whose name I forget, was done to make way for her. At least he had some idea of what was going unlike Ms Hammond who is completely clueless.
I’ve now unsubscribed from both

I have never understood Hammond. Is it a persona, or is he just a man child?

Effectively yes. He’s in the background but Mike Fernlie who imgo is ok is the front man before Izzy Hammond takes over and makes it Mumsnet for motors rofl

I'm sure it was "4x4 innit" or similar mindset...but still looked fun smile

I quite liked the driving test one. OK, it's not Catchpole on Cobra, but both are very watchable.

I never really thought much of Mike? (a bald man) I think his name was/is.

I think he is still on the videos, like you I unsubscribed a while ago, but the videos do pop-up now and again on recommendations so i do sometimes just have a view of he start to see if it could be something worthwhile.

Good video imo, I think the Rolls Royce Specter comment was a bit off though about the depreciation, because nobody buying a Spectre will be selling the car other than back to a Rolls dealer when they get a new car, and I would think the owners would be keeping the cars for a long time anyway, also it's laughable to put Jaguar EV's in with Rolls Royce, I don't know what a Jaguar would be comparable with anymore, because nobody buying a "brand new" Audi, BWM or Mercedes would consider a Jaguar, I suppose really the closest thing to a Jaguar is Alfa Romeo or maybe Lancia as they only seem to make EV's now.

Same here, it's no Hagerty - instead it's light-hearted and casual TV that can be watched by families etc

The driving test video was actually quite a good laugh and their content is enjoyable if you don't take it seriously
