Elon musk getting stuck into UK politics
Discussion
Musk appears to be aligning himself as particularly anti-UK of late, didn’t he post some mocking comment or two recently as well? Is there any particular reason for this do we know, is it a political thing, or is he just a bit bored?
I don’t normally comment on US politics, as for a start I’m not sufficiently interested or informed for what I think to be worth anyone’s time reading, but it does seem unavoidably clear that the civilised west has some thinking to do regarding global allegiances over the next few years. It seems that Trump’s entry into politics, and particularly his “team” the second time around, has blown wide open the flaws and differences in ‘Merica’s ways of thinking, which presumably previous administrations had worked hard to keep at bay in the interests of fostering good relations. Very few in the US seem to have much care or regard for anything much beyond their borders, and Musk appears to want to be the poster boy for that mentality, for some reason. A statesman he is not!

Aligning himself with a political party is one thing, but interfering in the judicial system and demanding an election is a different thing, for an appointee of the president- elect. Are we to assume these are the opinions of Mr Trump?
An early indication of the sort of hostile relationship that the UK can expect to look forward to then, unless Trump gets his way?acer12 said:
He has gotten close to Farage of late though both of them being in the Trump circle, so maybe he see's the UK as his next project. Only issue I see is that next election is a few years away and Musk has a short attention span for things like this.
Allegedly offered to support Farage with $100m Southerner said:

Seems to be having a go at Starmer today over the grooming gangs.
Not a fan of Musk but he's right, Starmer was the head of the CPS and needs to explain himself.

I think to say he is Anti Uk is missing the mark. I think he is anti-left/woke/declining-west.And to be honest holding people to account (for perceived inefficiencies/corruption in our justice system) for grooming gangs sounds pretty reasonable if you have a platform to do so.
He of course has his own agenda, but I think he's goals are about human planetary existence and long term I.e. Mars. I think that he is trying to cut through the noise and inefficiencies of the status quo and take the world off the fork in the road where we were headed. Which we have to admit everything seems in decline and broken, yet holding individuals to account will fix a lot of it very cheaply.
He probably isn’t too happy about 100 Labour canvassers sent across the pond for the democrats on the run up to the US elections or the rhetoric that the Labour Party - especially that which the front benchers with the IQ of a pull along duck have stated over many years about the republicans.
A case of what is good for the goose… with added goose fat.
