Help please !
Just on holiday and I have literally limped to my destination as my dash board back light keep going on and off ( it was daytime so I don’t know if I have brake lights or headlights ) also the air con is freezing and even on full “ heat “ Will not warm up. Does anyone know what the issue could be ? TIA

WRT your lights, could you not get out & check?

It is exceedingly unlikely that dash lights would affect headlights etc.

WRT heat/A/C, it is more likely that the AC isn't on but it is cold outside, so an issue with coolant flow will give you zero heat output.

I managed to get to my destination in daylight and the dashboard was fully lit at that point so yes I knew I had lights but it has three or 4 times during the journey randomly gone dim ( control panel ) but without any warning and whilst driving so I couldn’t tell exactly what was on or off.
Sorry I should have explained better - absolutely no heat in the car at all - even when cranked up to the max.

It sounds like you have a cooling system issue, could be a simple air lock, could be a low coolant level, could be a blocked heater matrix, could be one of several things, and unfortunately, you haven't enough info to tell which.

It needs someone to diagnose it properly at a competent garage as I am thinking that isn't likely to be you.

Not being nasty in saying that, but your post indicates you not knowing what to do to find the issue.
