Hi all
Did a search bit couldn't find anything.

Does anyone use an automatic litter tray for their cat(s)?

Some horror stories out there for cat death, and also some wildly different pricing.
Litter robot 4 seems to be the one, but £750, that's a big ask.

And for feeders too, looking for some sort of smart feeder that can be scheduled by app. I may need to go away with work at short notice.
Previously i has a petsafe one, but that was years ago, things might have moved on?

Thanks

We have 2 serving 5 cats with other trays. The other trays hardly get used, we empty all of them every day.

They are a bloody revelation. First world problems and all that, but they are great. We use Pettex clumping litter with them with a 5 min time delay to allow for the wee clumps to form. We use a lot less litter than we used to. Forget the ultra expensive bin bags from them too. Sainsbury's do a scented bin liner for 1.79 for 25 which fits perfectly.

We have the Petkit Pura Max. They were about 500 quid each without all the gizmos and on sale from Amazon. Cats can't get trapped in these ones as they say open. Also weight and movement detection stops the mechanism.
