My office stove has a remote that is not very good. I am guessing that I could buy a remote that would clone it, but I am not sure exactly what I need. It just and on / off job.

Any idea chaps please?

I have done. I was imagining that there might be something more robust. But if needs be I'll get one of those.

Has the current one broken? What is it you're looking to improve?

What sort of remote controls is it? IR, radio (what frequency)?

The original broke, so Dimplex replaced the whole stove and left me the old if I want it. The remotes feature regularly in critical reviews. They are very cheap and unreliable.

Ahhh.

I'd just buy a few generic remotes and have them ready to go when one fails. (Buying a few at once tends to spread delivery costs better on what will be a cheap item smile).
