Under £100 holiday watch
Discussion
Evening all
I hope you've all had a lovely Christmas.
I'm off away in a few weeks time and looking for a new watch. I usually take one of my nice watches and have worn them without any stress across Egypt, India, Far East.
However this time I suspect I will be in a lot of bars and probably pretty drunk at times lol....it doesn't really make sense to take an expensive watch.
So I need a watch to take with me. It needs to be
Under £100
Very legible dial as sadly my near sight is getting worse.
Date function
Light and comfortable
Waterproof enough for the swimming pool and perhaps a couple of meters skin dive.
I would have just taken my son's moon swatch but am worried about water damage and it doesn't have a date window.
Thanks

^ nice, but I wouldn’t personally swim or snorkel with that one.
As others have mentioned the Casio Duro MDV106 or 107 will more than do the job. I really like mine, having owned various expensive dive watches.
Another option is the Casio day date:

I've got one of those. It is a cool looking watch but I would say if spending a lot of time in the water the already suggested Casio Duro is probably a top choice - they are big though at 44mm so may not suit if you don't have stairwell-dominating wrists. They did a smaller version of the Duro but it was crap, and not a patch on the proper one.
