Looking for a birthday present.
Why would I pay £5 more for one of these

as opposed to this one

NOCO are a very good brand. You want to buy one that won’t let you down when you need it, not some china special.
NOCO are probably cheap Chinas made too, just cost a lot more because of the brand. I have done a little research and Topdom seem reputable enough just £100 cheaper than NOCO.
I have firsthand experience of NOCO, it probably is made in china but I feel the quality is such that I can recommend it over other brands. There’s lots of stuff being made in china, some with good QC some with not so good QC. These booster packs are only as good as the battery management systems, the quality of which dictate the life of the batteries and if they will spontaneously burst into flames or not.

Exactly. I went Noco. The fact you can walk into a huge faceless motoring shop anywhere in the U.K., and hand it back under warranty, was enough to tip the scales.Gassing Station | Home Mechanics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
