Just for Fun:

Electricity used £11.35 , wow normal is about £4.50
Wine 7 bottles , normal weekday zero.
First family argument at 08.10 before people arrived on Wattsapp.
Two family members still here , I can't wait till they go
Italian Job. 49 Steps and Bridge over that river film all on .
I will start lobbying on decoration removal tomorrow.
Merry Christmas.

In an AirBnB since last Sat. Electricity trips up to 15 times a day. Owner's suggestion : just reset it.

Joy.

I do get it, as finding an electrician over xmas is going to be impossible, but it really is a PITA and has taken a bit of the shine off the stay to be fair, so much so that we're fed up and going home today instead of Sat. (Suffolk to SW of Bristol)

Ha!
Grinch-tastic hehe

Electricity used £3.18 - average for Dec is £2.05. Surprisingly low, but we do have low rate home batteries, & even more surprisingly, they didn’t run out until around almost 10pm.
Wine? One nice red, one nice fizz (5 of us here, not massive drinkers, but we can do a bottle between 2 of us easily some nights).
Zero family arguments. Much banter. Sister with us for another 4 days. We do enjoy the company of our adult offspring, here for a few more days.
Presents for me? A range of clothes, books, beers, chocs, some pizza items (got an Ooni for a recent birthday) - might do some cooking today….
TV? Charlie’s ramble. Strictly (I tolerated it). Wallace & Grommit (very enjoyable!). Dr Who (also quite good). Gavin & Stacey (a great ending!).
Food was a team effort….fab breakfast, a relaxed present opening followed by lengthy cooking for a delicious late’ish dinner. My small part was the crushed garlic-cheesy sprouts. & peeling, the day before…

A lazy day today: games will be played. I have a heel pain which rules me out of any walking.
Decorations will remain until they are all gone by next Monday.

Merry Boxing Day all smile

Came home this lunchtime to find the wife had taken down all the Christmas decorations. Bliss.
Marvelous woman.

Decorations come down tomorrow as I'm away for NYE and I like them down by New Year's Day.
