Imagine, like me, you have an Amazon gift voucher for £50 as this year's Christmas bonus (Wooo! Yeah! Go hard economic trading conditions!) and there's nothing in particular you want/need... and you'd rather not wait until you need something boring: my last voucher (a research reward/payment, not a bonus) went on two new shaver heads - exciting stuff
Lets have your best ideas of how to blow it: tech, toys, tools, terrific tomes... even stuff that doesn't begin with "t" might be the winner!

These Leatherman-clone multitools are good. The "file" attachment is a T-slot fitting that will take universal jigsaw blades in wood/metal flavour also.

How about this and a nice glass to go with it.

Not a terrible idea (silly, but not terrible!), but no space.InitialDave said:

I've got a Leatherman. And a couple of clones. And a mini-Leatherman. And a couple of clone mini-Leathermen

Looks lovely, but it'd be wasted on me, I rarely drink (still got 2/3rds of a half bottle of Jura I was given 3.5 years ago in the cupboard...)Tidal Spiced Rum - Infused with Rare British Red Dulse | Unique Dark Chocolate, Sea Salt and Pepper Flavour | Award Winning Distillery | Taste of the Tide, 70cl (40% ABV) https://amzn.eu/d/cmz33py

Cheer up...spare a thought for those whose employers are tight enough to not give them anything. That's £50 more than I got given by mine!

How about buying one of those tape cassette players that can record directly onto a micro SD card in MP3 format? Then, buy some toothbrush heads or leather conditioner with the remaining balance.
I didn't know that was a thing. I have absolutely no use for one of those but it still sounds cool enough that I'm tempted to buy one!
